I.D. bareMinerals Foundation SPF 15
I’m sure almost all of you have heard about all the hype about the BareMinerals Foundation by BareEscentuals. People positive about how excellent their skin feels and how natural the foundation looks. Thus, I made a decision to get a few and test out all of this buzz myself personally. The cosmetic foundation appears to be like a natural powder but felt very smooth once i put on it. It also mixed remarkably. I am at this time using the Body Shop’s Face and Body Brush to use the makeup, but I may go and pick up brushes from bareMineral’s series because different brushes are supposed to offer various protections.
I noticed the foundation make up evened out my skin tone reasonably well, and sometimes when I’m only wearing tinted moisturizer I use this product as my concealer because my regular concealer is a) too light for me since I’ve tanned in the summer and b) is a bit too thick to use during the summer time.
I love the SPF factor in this cosmetic foundation so I don’t have to apply that extra layer of sunscreen.
There is a handful of issue I’ve with this foundation make up. One is that the shade doesn’t truly match my skin tone very well. It is a bit on the light side but the next shade in line was too dark (I had two Sephora ladies assist me and they both highly recommend the Golden Medium shade). Because of the color mismatch I look a tiny bit washed out in some lightings. I often try to atone for this by dusting on some bronzers and blush to warm up my face.
The other concern is that my skin turns into oily pretty quickly with this particular base. Although the goods is not assumed to be mattifying, I found that my face becomes greasy more rapidly than if I use my Clinique Superfit Makeup. Using a primer/mattifyer and putting on loose powder does help with the oiliness, however , I am still somewhat dissatisfied with this factor.
Affordable – Sigma Brushes with M.A.C. Quality
I recently discovered something new collection called Sigma Makeup, a vendor that are experts in face and eye makeup brushes. Wondering, I looked for evaluations on the internet regarding their brushes. All the recommendations I’ve found out were quite helpful, and some of them even rave that they’re similar to MAC brushes! Very much convinced, I got my personal range of Sigma brushes.
These kinds of brushes arrived 3 days ago and I’ve already been testing out every single one. I have got to say that these brushes surely stand up to all their buzz. They feel soft, in addition to brushes are heavy and stiff/full and soft when they should really be. I likewise washed them and they maintained their shape perfectly, no fraying or anything (yet…but I have high hopes:)).
You can purchase the entire Sigma Makeup Professional Brushes Package, which contains a dozen brushes for less than $64 (plus S/H), which works out to slightly much more than $5 each brush. These brushes are also you can buy separately and in smaller sized packages just for the facial skin or for the eyes. Compared to $20-$60 for a MAC brush, these brushes are steal of a deal.In order to help make things much easier for us (and for all the MAC fans out there), Sigma’s brushes are numbered roughly the same as their reciprocal MAC brushes. For example. their Tapered Blending Brush is numbered SS224, which is the same as MAC’s Tapered Blending Brush 224.
Unluckily Sigma Makeup’s brush series is not as extensive as MAC’s (they don’t have any lip brushes, as an example), however they do give the very important basics. I would probably encourage get Sigma Makeup’s full set then complete your selection by having individual MAC brushes.
